What it actually is
Hospitals generate large volumes of biomedical waste that staff currently collect and sort by hand, risking contamination and compliance failures. The ask is an autonomous battery-electric robot that moves through a hospital, identifies waste by vision, sorts it into the right compartments and tracks it digitally. It is designed in Autodesk Fusion, and notably no design files may be submitted at the idea stage.
